Amaro: The School in Our Memory

2023, 95 min

A film about Colégio Santo Amaro, a century-old school in Rio de Janeiro that closed its doors in 2020 during the pandemic, just before its 100th anniversary.

Through the memories of its students, teachers, nuns, and staff, a panorama emerges that intertwines history, education, and affection.

Between past and present, affection resurfaces, as they know the trip will soon end and those places will once again only exist in their memories. (Documentary).
